A prominent charitable organization is seeking a Senior Volunteering Learning Designer to lead the design of engaging learning experiences. The role involves managing a small team, ensuring high-quality content that resonates with volunteers, and collaborating across teams. Candidates should have relevant experience in learning design, stakeholder management, and demonstrate a passion for empowering volunteers. This hybrid position offers flexibility and an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community.
Location: Gilwell Park (Hybrid) or Home-based
Contract: Two-year fixed-term
Hours: 35 hours per week
For a Gilwell-based contract, there is an expectation to attend the office one day per week, plus one additional day per month for collaboration with the wider team.
For a home-based contract, there is an expectation to attend the office approximately once per month.
You’ll lead learning design activity across volunteering, ensuring our learning offer is engaging, accessible and learner‑centred. You’ll manage a small team and work closely with volunteers and colleagues across the organisation to deliver high‑quality learning experiences that make a real difference for young people.
Some evening or weekend working may be required to engage with volunteers.
