Your role

As Senior Technology Architect, you interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements elicitation, application architecture definition and design. You will play an important role in creating the architecture and high‑level design artifacts, conduct technical feasibility studies and identify smart ways of completing client requirements. You will guide the team technically and work closely with offshore teams acting as a communication medium between the client and offshore. Responsibilities

• Develop applications with high quality into a delivery pipeline to ensure secure, reliable, performant operations of Liferay DXP / Portal and REST APIs.
• Be a subject matter expert in application code development, helping and guiding others to maintain programming best practices.
• Perform Liferay Portal Administration including creating organizations, sites, user groups, and roles.
• Provide configurable portal experience per user and per organization.
• Configure 400+ organizations/sites, import users across each site, and manage staff transfer across organizations.
• Use API gateway for backend data / services integration to Liferay portal.
• Have routing and load balancing knowledge to understand complete technical architecture.
• Configure Elastic Search, indexing, implementing schedulers, etc.
• Have strong Liferay CMS experience for authenticated / unauthenticated users.
• Manage web content management, content audience targeting from the portal.
• Handle client communication and onshore‑offshore coordination.
• Understand requirements from business and provide clarifications to team.
• Maintain high level of knowledge, skill and competencies in web development.
• Translate design requirements and specifications into successful implementations.
• Ensure the project meets high standards for quality and adheres to industry best practices.
• Own tasks independently or with minimal supervision.

Required

• 3 years of Liferay DXP 7.3 or later product experience in developing applications.
• 3 years of Kaleo Workflow experience.
• 5 years of strong Java skills.
• 5 years of Restful Web Services.
• 5 years of JDBC and basic Hibernate.
• 5 years of Spring concepts and annotations.
• 5 years of HTML/CSS/Bootstrap/JQuery.
• Experience with Kaleo workflow, Entra / Azure AD/LDAP/SAML integration.

Preferred

• 15+ year’s experience in Information Technology.
• 5+ years of hands‑on software engineering experience in agile‑driven SDLC.
• Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record of being self‑directed, results‑oriented with demonstrated ability to achieve aggressive goals despite ambiguity and multiple priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both technical and business‑facing.
