Job summary

A public sector organization is seeking a Senior System Development and Implementation Officer for a temporary position of 24 months. You will be responsible for developing and supporting information systems aligned with children’s social care and early help services. Ideal candidates will have an NVQ Level 3 in a relevant discipline and experience in IT support. Job description
Senior System Development and Implementation Officer

We are looking for an experienced senior officer who has the ability to solve and explain computer related issues. This post is temporary for 24 months.

What is involved?

The primary responsibility of the Senior Systems Development and Implementation Officer is the development, implementation and support of information systems linked to children’s social care and early help services. You will identify requirements, develop system specifications and support implementation plans to ensure that the system provided to frontline and managerial staff meet business needs.

You will have a clear focus on implementing the national children’s social care reforms and will work alongside operational services and technical colleagues to ensure they are implemented according to the national guidance.

What will I need?
