Bristol City Council's Children Residential Service is offering a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Senior Residential Child Care Worker, providing therapeutic care experiences for children with complex needs. This would be a good opportunity for someone to experience a leadership role within a children’s home.
About Us: At Bristol City Council, we've redefined our approach to children's residential care. By transitioning to smaller homes for 2 to 3 children, we provide personalised care that better matches placements and creates a homely environment where children feel safe, loved, and nurtured. Our trauma-informed approach ensures we understand and cater to each child's unique needs, empowering them to thrive.
We serve children up to 18 years old with complex needs, including SEMH needs, learning difficulties, and challenging behaviour. If you share our passion for working with children who have faced significant challenges, we want to hear from you.

Required: Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent, including NVQ3 Health and Social and Level 3 Children and Young People’s Workforce diploma.
