An excellent opportunity to join the commercial team on a landmark £60m residential development in Henley-on-Thames.

The Role

You’ll oversee all commercial aspects of the project including budget preparation, cost control, subcontract management, valuations, and final accounts. The role will involve close collaboration with the Design and Project teams, ensuring works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare budgets, estimates, progress reports, and final accounts
  • Manage subcontract procurement, valuations, and payments
  • Liaise with the Design Team to ensure project requirements and specifications are met
  • Monitor costs, cashflow, and variations throughout the project lifecycle
  • Attend project meetings and provide regular commercial updates
  • Support senior management with cost reporting and forecasting
Requirements
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
  • 5+ years’ experience with a main contractor on commercial or residential projects
  • Strong knowledge of valuations, variations, and final accounts
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and QS software
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities
