Job summary

A healthcare provider in Basingstoke is seeking a dedicated Senior Mental Health Nurse to lead a nurse-led clinic within a Community Mental Health Team. We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced and innovative Senior Mental Health Nurse to run our Nurse-Led Clinic. Rivers CMHT is a close, lively, dynamic, nurturing, and supportive team with excellent peer support and regular supervision. You will manage a nurse-led clinic where service users are seen every 4-6 weeks. You will monitor mental state, carry out risk assessments, care plans (Dialogue +) and deliver interventions such as emotional coping skills and support service users towards recovery. Previous experience of working in a CMHT is desirable. You will also signpost to other agencies according to the individual's needs.

Rivers CMHT provides compassionate, kind and recovery-focused care to our patients, carers and their families. You will need to be able to work autonomously and use your own initiative. The successful candidates will have sound clinical skills, administration and IT skills, including be able to type. You will also need to be flexible and have excellent assessment and communication skills. You may need to work alongside other agencies to promote holistic recovery-focused care.
