Job description
Senior Finance Manager, Financial controllership
  • Work closely with the Corporate Finance Business Partnering team in both reporting actuals as also supporting development of forecasts and budgets as appropriate.
  • Manage and develop a team with two direct reports (Finance Managers), providing training and guidance on standard process.
  • Manage and coordinate Monthly Close activities in SAP and Oracle, driving cost assurance measures to ensure results are complete and accurate.
  • Production of key supporting schedules and accounting memos for significant costs.
  • Build a control framework to highlight any potential accounting issues and find opportunities for a more robust control environment to mitigate key risks.
  • Coordinate the preparation of Balance Sheet Packs providing full commentary on movements and breakdown of balances for areas supported.
  • Manage and coordinate audit responses.
  • Work with Finance, Business and Corporate function & Operations stakeholders to deliver outcomes by providing corresponding accounting, reporting and financial control support and enablement activities.
  • Working with Business Partners and Transfer Pricing to deliver cost allocations models.

Technical/Professional Skills & Competencies
  • Advance level Excel (VBA/Marcos not required)
  • Experience in Month End cycle and financial control
  • Significant people management experience.
  • Good working knowledge of IAS/IFRS
  • Proven ability to form strong relationships with customer and partners
  • Comfortable with working autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Proven track record to meet deadlines as well as working to a monthly close timetable
  • Clear and effective communicator
  • Strong customer focus & work ethic
  • Self-motivated.
Desired Skills
  • SAP and Oracle experience is desirable
