Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Senior (or strong Midweight) content writer in B2B; regulated/fintech is a big benefit.
  • Strong SEO fundamentals and comfort with analytics/search tools.
  • Ability to simplify complex terminology with accuracy; excellent editing and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with Compliance/Legal and structured approvals.

Senior Content Writer

London, Liverpool Street – Hybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 from home

We’re a fast-growing team across major global hubs. Through our continued expansion, we’re now hiring a full-time Senior Content Writer in London to join our Marketing & Brand team, reporting to the Head of Communication & Content.

The role

You’ll balance strategy with craft: turn ideas into standout content, partner closely with SEO/Data, Design and Product, simplify complex topics, and keep standards tight on compliance and localisation. You’ll help evolve our tone of voice and ensure additional website languages are market-fit and approved by the right stakeholders. You’ll also work across teams to plan and deliver campaigns, aligning timelines and outputs, and coordinate with freelancers when needed.

What you’ll be doing
  • Co-create the content strategy and plan with the Head of Communication & Content.
  • Own the end-to-end process: research → outline → write/edit → approvals → publish → measure → present.
  • Write across formats: blogs, thought leadership, UX/microcopy, landing pages, ads, email and customer comms.
  • Simplify complex/regulatory topics (FX, cross-border payments) for business owners across industries.
  • Partner with SEO/Data on intent, keywords, on-page optimisation, IA and reporting.
  • Campaigns & collaboration: align with the wider team (Brand, Growth, Partnerships, Product, Client teams) to plan and deliver campaigns; manage timelines, briefs and asset hand-offs.
  • Freelancer management: brief, manage and QA freelancers (writers, designers, translators); maintain tone, accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage localisation (FR/AR priority): workflows, glossaries, linguistic QA, in-market and Compliance sign-off, and multilingual SEO (metadata, hreflang, internal linking).
  • Support crisis/issues comms: holding lines, FAQs and customer updates with Legal/Compliance.
  • Present work and insights to stakeholders and push the creative bar responsibly.
A little bit about you
  • Proven experience as a Senior (or strong Midweight) content writer in B2B; regulated/fintech is a big benefit.
  • Portfolio showing long-form authority, UX/microcopy and high-impact ad/landing copy.
  • Strong SEO fundamentals and comfort with analytics/search tools.
  • Ability to simplify complex terminology with accuracy; excellent editing and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with Compliance/Legal and structured approvals.
  • Understanding of UX design and how copy drives outcomes.
  • Highly organised; enjoys research; confident presenting to stakeholders.
  • Basic CMS management, the ability to update content directly in the CMS environment, and an understanding of the go-live process would be beneficial.
  • Language: Professional proficiency in French or Arabic (writing/editing) is a strong plus.
  • A relevant degree is a nice-to-have, but not essential.
