Job summary

A growing BPA firm in the United Kingdom is looking for Senior Actuarial Trainee/Analyst candidates to join their Actuarial Reporting team. This role involves contributing to Solvency II, UK GAAP, and IFRS processes, as well as financial projections and planning. Ideal candidates will be part-qualified actuaries with reporting experience, comfortable working independently in a dynamic environment. This presents an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure across various actuarial functions within a UK life insurer.

Qualifications

• Must have an understanding of Solvency II, UK GAAP, and IFRS.
• Experience with financial projections and planning is preferred.
• Ability to contribute to model and process development.

Job description

I'm currently working on two Senior Actuarial Trainee / Analyst opportunities within a growing Bulk Purchase Annuity (BPA) business and would be keen to speak with part-qualified actuaries with reporting experience.

These roles sit within an Actuarial Reporting team and offer broad exposure across:

• Solvency II (Pillars I-III), UK GAAP and IFRS
• Financial projections and planning
• Annuity pricing and experience analysis
• Model development and process improvement
• Asset Liability Management

This would suit someone comfortable working independently, contributing to model and process development, and looking to build depth across reporting and wider actuarial work within a UK life insurer.
