A leading scientific laboratory is seeking a Scientist to join their Analytical Chemistry team in Earby. The role involves performing chemical analyses on client products and ensuring adherence to quality standards. Candidates should be graduates in chemistry or related fields, demonstrating strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities. The Scientist is part of Broughton’s Laboratory Operations team. Principally responsible for performing chemical analyses on customers’ products within agreed deadlines and quality standards (GMP, ISO, UKAS).

Responsibilities / ObjectivesQualifications and Education Requirements
Graduate of chemistry or a related subject. 2 years of laboratory experience would be considered as an alternative.

Experience with statistical packages
Competent with standard ‘Office’ applications (Excel, Word etc)

Salary and Benefits
Salary £26,250 - £28,450 Graduate Entry Level - £26,250 (40 hour week)
Broughton Day F ixed day off every 3 weeks, (salary sacrifice, terms appl y)
Broughton Day + Fixed day off every 2 weeks (salary sacrifice, terms apply)
Holidays 2 5 days plus recognised bank holidays
O ption to purchase 1 week (terms apply)
