Overview

As an Architect specializing in Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, high-performance e-commerce solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the architecture aligns with business objectives and best practices. Your expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud will be instrumental in driving successful digital commerce initiatives for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define architecture best practices and ensure alignment with industry standards.
• Lead and mentor development teams to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Optimize performance and ensure the security of Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud implementations.
• Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud features and capabilities.
• Understand business and technical requirements and translate these into Salesforce platform capabilities and solutions.
• Analyse business processes and identify solutions that drive business value, assess feasibility and recommend new approaches.
• Model processes, architecture, data structures and information required to support Publicis Sapient and their clients’ projects.
• Develop enterprise-grade architecture and processes which truly utilise and realise the value of the Salesforce.com platform.
• Ensure both business strategy and technological direction are aligned.
• Take a collaborative role in developing and enforcing Publicis Sapient architectural standards.
• Support project managers in all stages of the software development process.
• Assign work through the correct communication channels to functional consultants and monitor performance, providing advice, guidance and assistance.
• Contribute to the growth of the Salesforce Practice (e.g., Pre-Sales and producing reusable assets).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud architecture and implementation.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices and industry trends.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud Digital, Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA), and SiteGenesis.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
• Experience with integrating Salesforce Commerce Cloud with other enterprise systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable advising, mentoring, educating and influencing diverse teams on topics including Application Design, Solution Capabilities, System Landscape, Adoption and Change Management, Centre of Excellence and Governance as they relate to the Salesforce Platform.
• Proven leadership and consulting skills to build trust relationships with customers.
• Ability to lead a range of workshops (e.g., Discovery, Solution Design and Delivery).

Additional Information

• Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer or Architect certification.
• Experience with headless commerce and API-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Service Cloud integrations.
• Background in Agile and DevOps methodologies.
