As a Sales and Marketing Specialist, you will be part of Hitachi Energy's business.GeneralSales & Marketing work focuses on a combination of general sales and marketing work, including face-to-face or remote sales to new or existing customers. Assessing customer needs and recommending suitable products, services,and/or solutions.
Planning, developing, and deliveringthe marketingstrategy for products/services and associated brands. Evaluating, measuring, and managing the product or brand P&L
Achieve sales and growth targets within the assigned markets and accounts, including pipeline development, management, and sales forecasting.
Lead and orchestrate cross-functional teams/capture teams to generate & present a competitive, differentiated solution and bids to customers.
Define bid pricing, positioning, and channel strategies.
Lead technical and commercial discussions, negotiations, and deal closing.
Proactively position products, solutions, services, and new technology through customer seminars, workshops, trials/proof of concept, using the Presales Technical Support resources.
Establish, develop, and maintain partnerships with Channel Partners (Telecom System Integrators, EPCs, …)
Maintain excellent relationships with key players in the allocated market – End Customers, Telecom System Integrators, as well as EPC Contractors, Hitachi Energy Front End, and Geographic Sales, etc.
Gather market information and trends to ensure updated market knowledge for planning and implementing appropriate market strategies.
Marketing and sales-oriented personality.
Electrical / Electronic Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering background with at least 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the vital infrastructure sector.
A proven sales record will be an added advantage.
Knowledge and experience in the field of Data Transmission Systems (fiber optical communication systems, packet-based, IP, MPLS, TDM), preferably in connection with Mission Critical Communication applications in vital infrastructure domains like Electric Utilities, Rail/Metro Transportation, Oil & Gas, and Air Traffic Management.
Result-oriented, customer-focused personality with strong interpersonal skills.
Conversant with commercial aspects of contracts in international business.
Self-driven with strong initiative, highly committed team player with the ability to manage/orchestrate external and internal stakeholders towards Hitachi Energy's goals.
Fluent communication skills both written and spoken English. Knowledge of additional widely spoken European language(s) would be a plus.
