Job description

Promote and sell the company’s range of innovative products to new and existing clients. The route to market is direct to End Users and via the network of Architects, Specifiers and Construction Contractors for new builds. Provide customers and potential customers with technically based solutions and aftercare, from a home base North of Leeds or from our offices in Brampton, Cumbria. With easy access to M6, M1 or A1 you will be expected to travel throughout the northern region, including Scotland and Ireland, and to HQ in Brampton Cumbria for product training and monthly sales meetings (if not office based).

The Candidate

Proven track record in sales of a capital product into cold chain or acoustic products into the Film, TV, Theatre or Music Industry via architects, specifiers, contractors and existing end users. Previous sales of doors would be an advantage, and a technical/engineering background is essential.

Superb presentation skills are key, the ability to make appointments, provide surveys and gather technical information for proposals that they will then professionally follow up to an outcome. Confidence to negotiate contractual terms and conditions and plan a large territory will also be required.

The Company

Based in Brampton Cumbria SAFE-door Industries Ltd. designs, manufactures and installs door systems worldwide. The product lines are distinct and innovative - found in cold stores, food processing facilities, TV and film studios, theatres and power stations. We will provide full product training and have systems in place to support the successful candidate in the field sales role.

Package

A basic salary will be provided; bonuses will be paid on sales performance, particulars products and loyalty. Private Health Care, Pension Scheme, Company Vehicle, Communications Equipment are also included with this important role.
