A steel erection company in Chester is looking for a Rigger to assemble rigging used to lift and move materials in various settings including manufacturing plants and construction sites. Ideal candidates will have practical knowledge of safety regulations and experience in organizing rigging tasks. The role involves fabrication of rigging setups, operating lifting equipment, and ensuring safety compliance.

Assembles rigging to lift and move equipment or material in manufacturing plant, shipyard, or on construction project by performing the following duties.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Preferred one to two years related experience and/or training.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
A bility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Valid driver's license. Must meet all CSE MVR criteria.
Must be able to travel. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
