A leading children's care provider in Salford is seeking a Registered Manager to oversee operations in a home for young people with complex needs. The role offers a competitive salary between £50,000 and £70,000, along with a range of benefits, including a £5,000 signing bonus and qualification support. Ideal candidates will have significant leadership experience and a Diploma in Residential Childcare. This role is pivotal in ensuring excellent care within a dedicated team environment.
Job Title: Registered Manager
Location: Salford (M38)
Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum OTE £80,000!
Working Hours: Full Time: 40 Hours per week (Monday – Friday)
Service: Children’s Home
Service Users: Young People (age 7-17) with Complex Needs (ADHD, ODD, LD), Ratios of 3:1, 4:1 and on occasion 5:1
Qualifications Required: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent); willingness to obtain Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 2 years (if not already held)
Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years in a management or supervisory role within the children's Ofsted residential care sector
Employment Type: Permanent
Number of Beds: Solo placement
Location: Salford, Greater Manchester
Type of YPs: Complex Needs (ADHD, ODD, LD), referrals from secure units
Ofsted Rating: New Home
Staff Ratio: 3:1 is the norm but can be upto 5:1

Strong leadership skills to manage and support staff effectively
Flexible approach to working patterns, including covering shifts when required
Full UK driving licence required (You must drive to be able to apply for this role)

High staffing ratios to ensure safety and outstanding care
