Qualifications

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a residential childcare setting.
  • A minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years.
  • Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a children's home effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted requirements.
  • Support children with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties.

Service Users: YPs with EBD and complex needs

  • Number of Beds: 5
  • Location: Preston
  • Type of YPs: EBD, Trauma, Neglect
  • Ofsted Rating: At least “Good” required
  • Ratio of Staff to Children: To be determined
Who We Are Looking For…

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager who is committed to making a difference in the lives of young people. The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a residential childcare setting
  • A minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years
  • Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care (Essential)
  • Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (Preferred, or willingness to enroll within 6 months)
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and Ofsted requirements
  • Exceptional leadership and organisational skills
  • Experience in supporting children with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties
  • Full UK driving licence
