A leading scientific organization in East Grinstead is seeking an Apprenticeship position in Quality Control. The role requires maintaining laboratory functions, testing raw materials, and performing general laboratory maintenance. Candidates should have at least 5 GCSEs including English and Maths and strong attention to detail. An apprenticeship in Applied Science will be provided, combining online learning and practical training.

5 GCSE's at 9-4 (A*-C) including English Maths and Science.
A Level's preferred but not required.
circa £25,000 per annum
East Grinstead, West Sussex
Monday-Friday (08:15-17:00); this includes x2 15 minutes paid breaks and a 45-minute unpaid lunch break

To support the Quality Control testing processes by undertaking general laboratory maintenance to ensure the Department remains functional. This is a flexible position covering all general laboratory maintenance skill areas (bacteria recovery, stock maintenance, media manufacture) and some testing of raw materials.
Qualification to be delivered: BTEC in Applied Science
Apprenticeship Standard: Level 3 Laboratory Scientist
Training Provider: Cogent Skills
Delivery model: Online virtual learning + 3 day residential in York required for practical and full time site based
