Quality Assurance

Job Title: Quality Assurance – The Beechdean Group

Location: Beechdean, Tattenhall (Cheshire) – travel to other locations as required.

Reporting To: QA Supervisor

Working Hours: Monday – Thursday: 06:30am–16:30pm (30‑minute paid lunch); Friday: 06:30am–15:00pm (30‑minute paid lunch). Hours may be variable depending on business needs.

About the Role

This role is within the technical team, based in the production hall. Responsibilities include carrying out all checks and paperwork during production, working independently and as part of a wider team, and prioritising tasks.

Role & Responsibilities

• Report directly and elevate all issues to QA supervisor.
• Complete all factory paperwork accurately within the designated production hall.
• Complete CCP checks – metal detection.
• Ensure all procedures are followed correctly in production.
• Verify packaging, batch details of materials used, and allergen segregation in the production hall.
• Support the QA supervisor with swabbing where required.
• Support the QA supervisor with audits where required.
• Assist the technical team with additional tasks.
• Assist the site with customer and third‑party audits.
