QA Compliance Associate 0800 - 1630 hrs, Mon‑Fri (with every second Friday off). Site‑based.
A little about us: Dechra are a growing, global specialist within the world of veterinary pharmaceuticals. Our expertise is in the development, manufacture, marketing and sales of high‑quality products exclusively for veterinarians worldwide. It’s a great time to join our modern Skipton facility, and further investment for the Skipton site means that we’re in an exciting period of positive change for the business.
Here at Dechra, our values are embedded within our culture and thrive within our family of almost 2000 colleagues globally. From manufacturing to marketing, (D)edication, (E)njoyment, (C)ourage, (H)onesty, (R)elationships and (A)mbition are at the heart of our everyday operations and the way we do business.
The QA Compliance Associate works within the Quality Assurance group to ensure site‑wide compliance. You’ll build key relationships with other site functions, providing cGMP support to ensure compliance with standards and the delivery of site quality metrics.
You’ll be the person to ensure everything we do is compliant, checking that things have been done to the correct standard across the site.
Day to day, you’ll look at change controls and document what the change is. This could be new artwork, for example, on the packaging components such as cartons or leaflets and packing records, etc. Your team facilitates overseeing the change and making sure it can go ahead.
You’ll use various systems and processes to complete your day‑to‑day actions and sense‑check that everything has been logged correctly on our Oracle system.
If you’ve worked within Pharmaceuticals before or other heavily regulated industries, then great! Equally(dr), we’ll still love to hear from you if you’re looking to gain more experience in this area. You’ll need to be well‑organised, manage a large workload, and effectively prioritise a range of tasks and actions within our secure cloud‑based enterprise content management platform, Veeva.
Experience with change control actions will stand you in good stead, but you don’t need to be a subject‑matter expert in this area; more of an understanding of the ‘why’ behind the process. You’ll be assigned a department to support with Capas and Deviations via Veeva.
You won’t always be able to get hold of the right people or find the answers you need right away. Manufacturing sites are very busy and face multiple challenges daily. Because of this, you’ll need to adopt a proactive approach to the working day and build relationships quickly across cross‑functional teams. You’ll actively contribute towards PQR Product Quality Reviews with Supply Chain, Quality Assurance and Quality Control involved, managing the PQR system and your actions as well.
We provide veterinary professionals with the tools to support the welfare of animals worldwide. A true career with real purpose, that’s something you can proudly shout about.
We also care deeply about you; you’ll have full access to our Employee Assistance programme (EAP) which ensures you have confidential emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support 24/7, 365. This ensures that you are well‑equipped to deal with life’s many challenges.
We’ll take care of you from here on. Firstly, thank you for taking the time to express interest in this opportunity and Dechra. If you’re interested, please apply in the first instance.
We take pride in ensuring you have a positive experience with Dechra and the recruitment process. Our team is friendly and approachable. We won’t ghost you… we’ll always provide updates and feedback regardless of дзяцей, even if the update is, “there’s no update”.
Typically, you’ll receive an initial phone call from the recruitment team to gain a deeper understanding of you and your current work situation. Most of our roles have a two‑stage interview process (MS Teams and a face‑to‑face interview). We may ask you to complete a personality questionnaire ahead of time so that we get to learn a little more about you before the interview.
Our interview style is conversational and friendly. Additionally, weindice competency‑based, structured answers to our questions, so please feel free to prepare in advance of the interview.
