PSV Mechanic – Heathrow Airport

We are recruiting for a PSV Mechanic position at FiberNet, a trusted service provider delivering essential vehicle support services at Heathrow Airport.

Salary: Up to £53,000 p/a (DOE). Salary review after 3 months.

Working Pattern: 4 on / 4 off, 06:00‑18:00.

Location: Heathrow Airport, Hounslow, United Kingdom.

Contract: Full‑time, permanent.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, servicing and repair of 852‑seater PSV vehicles.
• Conduct diagnostic work and fault finding.
• Carry out mechanical, electrical and bodywork repairs as required.
• Complete required paperwork and documentation accurately.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant safety and airport standards.
• Support the wider maintenance team in ensuring maximum vehicle uptime.

Candidate Requirements

• Level 3 Mechanical Qualification (or Level 2 with relevant hands‑on experience).
• Full UK driving licence; PCV licence preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience working on public service vehicles or similar large commercial vehicles.
• Electric Vehicle experience and/or training is highly beneficial.
• Must be able to pass a full airside background check, including 5‑year referencing and a clean, basic DBS check.
