A global technology company is seeking a Project Engineer in the UK & Ireland to coordinate project designs in service delivery. The successful candidate will lead engineering projects, ensure designs meet customer specifications, and collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance project quality. Applicants should possess an engineering degree (HNC or higher) and excel in communication and problem-solving skills. Seize this opportunity to become part of Hitachi Energy’s Service team in the UK & Ireland. As a Project Engineer you will be responsible for coordinating the design for projects delivered within Service (HV, Switchgear & Transformers), ensuring that designs are delivered on time, in line with customer requirements and to a high standard.
You will have experience and expertise of leading engineering projects, preferably within the power sector and have an open and a want to ‘get stuck in’ mindset. The position will require travel to customer sites in the UK and Europe (to attend workshops within our feeder factories).
