THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Hythe Engineering for a Project Administrator to join our team during a phase of substantial growth. Hythe Engineering is a prominent player in the engineering sector, and this role has been created to provide vital support to the Project Management function.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • General support to workforce on logging and allocation of hours to live jobs
  • Facilitate seamless communication among project teams, operations, and clients
  • Prepare and maintain documentation, including status reports and meeting minutes
  • Schedule and coordinate project-related events, ensuring smooth execution
  • Maintain precise records of project-related documents
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

ESSENTIAL:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software
  • Qualification in Administration or Project Management
  • Proven experience in a project administrative role, preferably within an engineering organisation
  • Knowledge of nuclear and defence industry regulations and processes
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Please be aware that roles at Hythe Engineering require security clearance. Successful candidates must be able to meet the requirements to obtain, and maintain, appropriate security clearance to be considered for this position
