Qualifications

Woodside Health & Care Centre, 891 Garscube Road, Glasgow G20 7ER

Drs Leslie, Rasul and Partners are looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join our supportive, friendly and forward-thinking practice team.

We are a modern, purpose-built practice based in Woodside Health Centre, G20 7ER, caring for a diverse and mixed population that includes students as well as local residents from the West End and Maryhill areas.

The Role

This is a part‑time position, working 3 or 4 days per week, with flexible hours that can be discussed to suit the successful candidate. Competitive salary negotiable depending on experience.

Who We Are

Our practice is well‑established and highly supportive, consisting of:

  • 6 GPs
  • 2 experienced Practice Nurse
  • 1 Health Care Assistant
  • Experienced reception and administrative staff
  • Advanced Physiotherapist
  • Registered Nurse with the NMC
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

General practice experience is desirable but not essential, as full training and support will be provided for the right candidate.

  • Chronic disease management (Asthma, Diabetes, COPD)
  • Cervical cytology
  • Sexual health and family planning
  • Experience using EMIS and Docman (training can be provided)
  • Independent Prescribing qualification (advantageous but not essential)
