Job Title: PCB/RF Design Engineer
Responsibilities
  • System level estimation of RF component impacts to gain, return loss, attenuation, isolation, noise figure and linearity.
  • Ability to do initial layout floor-planning using Cadence Allegro.
  • Electro‑magnetic simulation of ATE solution RF transmission lines to evaluate RF line performance using Ansys HFSS.
  • Full circuit path simulation using Keysight Advanced Design System (ADS) to evaluate RF path s-parameters of combined layout and components.
  • Continuous improvement in ATE measurement capabilities and accuracy.
  • Feasibility support for new test requests.
Required Experience and Skills
  • Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or related field with 8+ years of RF design and simulation (MS plus 6 years or PhD plus 3 years also acceptable)
  • Background of RF, analog or mixed signal designs.
  • Background in RF, analog or mixed signal system analysis techniques.
  • Background in RF design software such as Keysight Advanced Design System (ADS) and/or Ansys HFSS.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work in teams.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills that enable on‑time project completion.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced and rapidly changing environment.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD$114,400 -$220,200 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium‑free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others.
