Painter Needed - East London

My well‑known Social Housing and Property Maintenance Client is currently looking to hire experienced Painters who also have experience in Damp & Mould. Please note, there is minimal travel required for this contract. Areas covered include Bethnal Green and Hackney.

The Client is currently managing 4,000 to 5,000 properties and is seeking Painters to complete day‑to‑day reactive repairs. In this role, you will be working on site and tenanted social housing properties, ensuring that maintenance and reactive repair tasks are carried out to a high standard.

This is a long‑term contract, 8 months+ with the possibility of ongoing work or a permanent offer.

PAY RATE: £20.00 per hour

Operatives will be paid weekly, one week in arrears through CIS or LTD account.

Requirements

• Own van or car
• UK driving licence (up to 6 points allowed)
• Clean DBS
• 5+ years of experience painting, ideally within the social housing environment
• Own brushes/rollers
• Start date: ASAP; interviews will be held next week
