We are looking for a skilled and motivated Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist to join our team. We are a large and established team made up of SLT's across all bandings, SLTA's and an admin team.
We are committed to delivering evidence based, high quality and progressive services for our patients. To achieve this we aim to continuously develop and implement an innovative way of working within mainstream schools in Wandsworth. You will have the opportunity to use and develop your skills to work collaboratively with a team of Speech and Language Therapists and education staff, advising on interventions that meet the needs of children/young people with a variety of speech, language and communication needs.
We have a number of active working parties within the team to ensure we are using an evidence based model of intervention including:
We have a robust Personal Development Review process as well as Band 5 support group to help support you to work through your NQP competencies (if required).
There is band 5 peer supervision supported by a highly skilled Band 6/7 therapist (or above) with the opportunity to learn about and practice standardised assessments and interventions appropriate for different communication needs.
You will have the opportunity to use and develop your skills to work collaboratively with a team of Specialist Speech and Language Therapists and education staff, delivering interventions that meet the needs of children/young people with a variety of speech, language, and communication needs.
