Overview

As an Optometrist at Vision Express, you’ll work with advanced technology including automated refraction, non-contact tonometry, automated keratometry, fundus camera, visual field analyser, OCT and automated phoropters. Our ambition is to help customers See More, Be More by providing appropriate eyecare and eyewear solutions. We are open to flexible hours to fit around your preferred working week.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' eyes and vision, and provide specialist recommendations on eyecare or eyewear solutions.
• Communicate professional terminology in a way that patients can easily understand.
• Collaborate with store teams to deliver high-quality customer service and eyecare solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in testing patients eyes and eyesight with the ability to advise on appropriate eyecare or eyewear solutions.
• Strong communication and rapport-building skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced retail environment and to work as part of a team.
