Your Role as Operations Manager for Key:

The Operations Manager combines senior operational leadership with business support functions to ensure both high-quality service delivery and effective organisational systems. Working in line with Key’s values and demonstrating them through all aspects of their work, the post holder will embody Key’s commitment to kindness, quality services and working in partnership. Working under the direction of the Assistant Director, you will manage operational functions across service delivery and business infrastructure, mobilise new services, lead teams, maintain robust organisational systems, and ensure services deliver positive outcomes for the people Key supports whilst maintaining financial sustainability and regulatory compliance. Two post holders will work collaboratively to provide comprehensive operational coverage with flexibility to focus on different areas as organisational needs evolve.

This is a Permanent contract, working 36.5 hours per week based in the Leyland with a majority of work being office based.

What You Will Bring:

  • Experience in areas aligned with Key’s strategic aims, such as homelessness prevention, domestic abuse support, mental health and wellbeing, or community development.
  • Substantial experience managing services for vulnerable individuals and communities, with a strong understanding of trauma-informed and person-centred approaches.
  • A proven track record in operational mobilisation, successfully implementing new services from planning through to delivery.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in monitoring budgets and delivering services within financial constraints.
  • Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams and build collaborative partnerships.
  • Skilled in using quality frameworks or accreditations to maintain high standards.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • A data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills, able to interpret data and make evidence-based decisions.
