Job summary

A UK-based engineering firm is looking for a Field Service Engineer to deliver maintenance and repair services for material handling equipment (MHE). The position requires proven skills in diagnosing and repairing various MHE, particularly with Li-ion powered systems. Ideal candidates will have a strong focus on customer service, electrical and mechanical fault-finding, and a relevant technical qualification. The role also involves travel to customer sites across England and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in servicing, diagnosing and repairing MHE equipment.
• Practical experience working with Li-ion powered systems and hydraulic equipment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, diagnosis and repair of MHE including various equipment.
• Safely work on Li-ion battery systems and troubleshoot issues.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
