The Role:

An early years setting that provides exceptional care and education to their children is looking for a Nursery Manager to join the team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support a team, manage effectively and efficiently, uphold positive working relationships and be an effective mentor and role model.
  • Partner with senior management and EY Professionals to ensure continuous improvement and meet Ofsted standards through collaboration.
  • Provide safe, high-quality education and care for children attending
  • Fulfil legal and statutory requirements
  • Be responsible for the management of day-to-day financial operations by meeting financial targets and managing the occupancy ensuring maximum capacity.
  • Agree and set nursery goals and monitor the achievement of progress against targets alongside the Twizzle Tops Senior Team.
  • Monitor and assess the quality of your nursery ensuring that policies and procedures, best practice and standards are maintained daily.
  • Collaborate with parents and other staff members to support children’s individual needs, and empower the parents to be partners in their children’s learning.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of all children and team members at Twizzle Tops
  • 2+ years of Nursery Management experience
  • 5+ years of experience working in an Early Years setting
  • Excellent working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and current Ofsted statutory guidance.
  • Knowledge and proven practical experience of implementing good quality learning opportunities and leading a team’s professional development.
  • Knowledge and experience of child protection, health and safety, equal opportunities and SEN/Inclusion and experience of supporting and leading a team.
  • Experience of working with other agencies to ensure children can access support they need to flourish.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality learning opportunities through team collaboration and best practice
