Qualifications

• CPC National/International qualification desirable.
• Experience working within a distribution / transport environment.
• Experience managing workload in a pressurised environment.
• Sound understanding of vehicle planning in a transport environment.
• Basic understanding of driver hours regulations / Tachograph law.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily planning of company and/or third‑party resources.
• Effectively manage vehicle utilisation and ensure drivers receive clear instructions.
• Co‑ordinating with retail department teams to optimise fleet/driver utilisation.
• Managing the balance between own fleet and subcontract requirements.
• Investigating accidents or driver performance issues.
