St John Ambulance works at the heart of communities, supporting and enabling them to access and receive physical and mental health first aid. We do this through developing and providing effective community response and outreach services (e.g. Ambulance response) and using our longstanding expertise to empower people with vital clinical skills and the confidence to use them (e.g. our Volunteers and Community Advocates, and Young Responders programmes).
In this role, you will work from a designated workshop, travelling to SJA locations to carry out maintenance, testing, and repairs, ensuring all equipment meets national, regulatory, and manufacturer standards. You will be responsible for scheduling and planning maintenance through our asset management system and coordinating with key equipment users to keep everything running smoothly.
You’ll also provide expert support across regions, helping during surge activity or covering planned or unplanned absences, making a real difference to the delivery of our lifesaving services.
