Multi Skilled Operative

Location: Ashington

Salary: £28,851.00 per annum.

Hours: 37 per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent Full Time

Date: 1pm, Friday 16th January 2026

We are looking to appoint a Multi Skilled Operative, to join Bernicias Property Maintenance and Construction department.

About The Multi Skilled Operative Role

• Assisting trade staff to undertaking all types of work associated with this position, to both domestic and commercial properties to a high standard but also for the delivery of excellent customer service.

Your Experience

• Required to have good general trade skills
• CSCS card as appropriate to the role
• Experience of working within a commercial and domestic property environment
• Experience of working in a target driven environment
• Adapt to change, positively contribute and communicate with effectively
• To undertake multi-skilled trade competencies
• To understand risk assessments
• Ability to deliver work in line with construction drawings.
• A sound knowledge of building construction, components and building trades
