Motor Vehicle Technician – Stoneacre Motor Group

We are excited to be recruiting for a Motor Vehicle Technician. This is an unrivalled opportunity to join one of the UK's fastest growing motor groups.

Responsibilities
  • Service, repair and maintenance work for customers' vehicles, readying them for the road ahead.
  • Represent a variety of manufacturers and work on a diverse range of vehicles and models, taking full ownership of customers and completing jobs to the highest standard.
  • Work in an industry‑leading workshop boasting state‑of‑the‑art facilities; through both in‑house and manufacturer training you will be given full support and development enabling you to reach your full potential and elevate your career in EV Technology.
Average Day
  • Utilise expanding knowledge of our manufacturer's vehicles and features to service, repair and diagnose customers' vehicles to an exemplary standard within our state‑of‑the‑art workshop.
  • Work as part of a capable and motivated team, completing all service paperwork to manufacturer and brand standards.
  • Accurately and skillfully complete and provide diagnostic reports on customers' vehicles.
  • Complete relevant service documentation, including job sheets, PDIs and service reports, in accordance with manufacturer, warranty and dealer requirements.
  • Upon job completion, check the level and quality of work through use of diagnostic equipment and road testing.
About You
  • We consider candidates from all backgrounds who have experience working in the automotive sector within a technical role.
  • As a minimum, you are qualified to Level 2 NVQ, or equivalent, in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  • You have fantastic communication skills and thrive working in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
  • You can work well under pressure – your technical ability will help you overcome any challenge.
  • An electric and hybrid vehicle qualification or certification would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • MOT licence would also be beneficial but not essential.
  • You hold a full UK driving licence.
