Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead our Banking & Finance division
  • Collaborate with financial adviser/broker, technical and administrative paraplanners
  • Research and develop residential and commercial loan strategies
  • Liaise with clients throughout the loan process
  • Prepare loan proposal documents via MyCRM
  • Prepare loan applications via ApplyOnline
  • Track applications and settlements
  • Monitor compliance and conduct annual reviews
  • Liaise with banks during the application and settlement process
  • Assist with staff training and development
Education & Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will preferably have completed the following:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance
  • Certificate IV in Finance & Mortgage Broking
Experience & Attributes
  • Minimum two year previous experience as a mortgage broker or home loan specialist and/or business banking role
  • Strong knowledge regarding all industry administrative processes
  • Strong industry loan product and credit policy knowledge
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi‑task
  • Proactive approach to identifying and solving issues
  • Ability to effectively manage workflow tasks
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills with proven ability in relationship building
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Experience using industry workflow management systems
  • Experience using mortgage broking software
