Job summary

A leading fleet management company in the South London area is looking for a Mobile Vehicle Technician to provide on-site technical support for fleet maintenance. This permanent, full-time position involves night shifts on a 4 on 4 off rotation. The successful candidate must have a Level 3 Vehicle Technician certification and experience in the field. Additional perks include a support vehicle and provided uniform.

Overview

BP Rolls Commercial Fleet Management provides on‑site technical support for maintenance and servicing of Home Shopping clients (Supermarkets) with large fleets and LCVs. We are committed to minimise vehicle downtime across the Greater London & SE area.

Responsibilities

Additional Mobile Technicians are required to work the night shift on a 4 on 4 off rotation. Report to the Mobile Technician Manager for the South / South East. You will be provided with a fully fitted BP Rolls support vehicle to undertake your role.

Requirements
  • You must hold minimum Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician certification (body/electrical/mechanical) and be able to demonstrate your knowledge and practical capability.
  • Ideally with minimum 3 years of additional experience; some specific training will be provided as part of the induction but you must possess the necessary skills to work independently.
  • Enthusiasm, self‑motivation, and a can‑do attitude are essential.
  • Professional & skilled workmanship with the ability to problem‑solve independently & efficiently.
  • Clean driving licence, no driving convictions will be considered.
  • This is a customer‑facing role therefore experienced Customer service skills are needed along with the ability to problem‑solve to seek resolution on occasion.
  • Able to work on a 4 on 4 off rolling shift pattern, NIGHTS.
  • Already located within the required territory of South London with legal Right to Work status already held.
