Mobile Cleaner required in Taunton and Bridgwater

£14.54 per hour, equates to £30,243.20 pro rata (based on a 40 hour working week)

30 hours per week

Monday to Friday, AM and PM shift each day

6:30am-9:30am and 3:30pm-6:30pm

South West Norse is a successful commercial service partnership between Norse Group and Devon County Council, delivering catering, cleaning and facilities management expertise across a number of client basis including, schools, housing associations and civic buildings.

We currently have a great opportunity for a Mobile Cleaner to join our established teams based in Taunton and Bridgwater. This position is being offered on a Permanent, Part Time basis working 30 hours per week.

The Role

Working across multiple teams around Somerset, you will be responsible for carrying out day to day routine and ad-hoc cleaning services, ensuring that the necessary standards are met and operating in line with Client and Norse Policies and Procedures.

Whilst maintaining hygiene levels as an important part of site safety across all communal areas, this consumer facing role will require you to deliver high standard of customer service to the clients and stakeholders across the facilities you are operating within.

Our Successful Candidate

If you have previously worked within a commercial cleaning environment then this would be an advantage however, at Norse we offer full training and support for enthusiastic individuals if you can demonstrate:

  • Ability to work to defined standards in a quality driven environment
  • Good communication skills, capable of building relationships with colleagues, clients and members of the public
  • Comfortable working independently to your own initiative as well as being part of a team
  • Good attention to detail, able to deliver a high level of customer service

As this is a mobile position, you will need to hold a Full UK Driving Licence, but we will provide a vehicle to you for travel.

An enhanced DBS check will be required for our successful candidate; payment will be met by the employer.
