A hospitality group in the UK is seeking a Meetings and Events Sales Agent to manage event bookings, maximize revenue, and deliver exceptional guest services. This role involves direct engagement with clients, processing bookings, and conducting hotel tours. The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent customer service, sales ability, and be comfortable using technology such as Opera and Salesforce. Meetings and Events Sales Agent (Maternity Cover starting 2nd March 2026), £30,000 per annum (£14.42 per hour), 40 hours per week (5 days)
We are looking for a Meetings and Events Sales Agent to join our team, where you'll play a crucial role in managing event bookings, maximising revenue, and providing outstanding guest service.
You will often be the first point of contact with our guests – taking them from first enquiry through to contracting. You will need to be comfortable engaging with guests on the phone, via email and face to face in the hotel.
We offer Meeting and Events in all shapes and sizes – from 2 to 100 guests, business meetings through to weddings and private events.
This role is predominantly office based in the hotel, working Monday to Friday, mainly dealing with direct enquires although over time there will be the option to expand into direct sales calls as the business needs.
