Responsibilities

  • Attend nationwide installations and breakdowns, ensuring call‑out policy is maintained.
  • Service, repair and assemble pumps and pumping equipment.
  • Be available on a rota basis for standby cover over weekends and bank holidays, when requested.
  • Maintain company procedures and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Complete site reports after each visit, obtain customer signatures and submit promptly.
  • Act as a company ambassador, promoting all products and services at every opportunity.
  • Ensure the company vehicle is stocked and that van‑stock and tools required are available at all times.
  • Identify training needs.
Job description

A manufacturing company based in Crewe is looking for a mobile facilities engineer to work with the electrical engineer in and around Orpington Kent. The role involves travelling to sites and implementing, fixing and servicing industrial pumps.

  • Attend nationwide installations and breakdowns, ensuring call‑out policy is maintained.
  • Service, repair and assemble pumps and pumping equipment.
  • Be available on a rota basis for standby cover over weekends and bank holidays, when requested.
  • Maintain company procedures and identify opportunities for improvement.
