Job summary

A leading engineering company in the Greater Sheffield Area is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to perform preventative and reactive maintenance duties on various machinery. Candidates should possess NVQ Level 3 in mechanical engineering and experience in a medium to heavy engineering environment. This role offers a salary ranging from £40,000 to £45,000, with standard working hours of 44 per week. A generous benefits package is also included.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a medium to heavy engineering environment.
• Ability to read mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic engineering drawings.
• Experience with lock out, tag out procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Use RCA to identify true cause of failures.
• Ensure all PPM tasks are completed on time.
