Job description

CMC are seeking an experienced Mechanical Draughtsperson to join a project team at the start of a 6-month contract, supporting the design of a deep saturation diving system. The role is full-time onsite in Aberdeen (working arrangements may evolve as the project progresses).

You will be responsible for 3D modelling, detailed part design, and full system schematics, working with existing technology and contributing to the overall system design from pressure vessels through to full system layouts.

• Start Date: 5th January
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week
• Interviews to be had on Monday 22nd December
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Draughtsperson
• Experience using AutoCAD for schematics
• Demonstrable experience working on full mechanical system designs
• Background in one or more of the following industries:
• - Saturation / subsea systems (preferred)
• - Oil & Gas
• - Aerospace
• - Other complex engineered systems
• Ability to work onsite full time in Aberdeen (Potential for Hybrid further into the contract)
• BPSS clearable (can start prior to clearance completion)
