Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Flintshire

Salary: £50,000 per annum

HRGO Recruitment are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop, improve, and sustain efficient manufacturing processes. This role works closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure products are built safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing operations, including design interpretation, documentation, and specifications
  • Develop and improve processes to enhance quality, cost, and delivery performance
  • Design, specify, and implement tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing equipment
  • Support new product introduction from concept and design review through production launch
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean manufacturing and process optimisation
  • Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Planning, and Supply Chain teams to resolve production issues
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for yield, build, and quality issues
  • Participate in safety, risk assessment, and ergonomic reviews to maintain a safe working environment
  • Assist with process transfers between manufacturing sites when required
Qualifications
  • HND/HNC in Engineering or equivalent required
  • Experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or test environment
  • Strong understanding of production processes, methods, and manufacturing systems
  • Experience with CAD software
  • Familiarity with Lean, continuous improvement, or problem‑solving methodologies
