Centric Talent is currently recruiting for a talented Maintenance Assistant for our client located in Bolton. The client is looking for an individual with some fabrication and welding experience to join their maintenance team. The candidate should be dynamic, driven and adaptable. Some experience welding or fabrication is essential for this role.

Key Areas Of Responsibility

• Supporting general maintenance of the factory/warehouse
• Building and painting pallets
• Fabricating and welding items in the factory when needed
• General labouring in the factory
• Adhering to all warehouse & health and safety processes
• Keeping working areas clean, tidy and safe
• Providing feedback through the correct channels where required

This list is not exhaustive – the role will develop and change, and we are looking for people who are interested in growing with the role.

It is also important that you can work in line with our client’s strict H&S requirements, to keep yourself, and your colleagues safe at work. Full training on all H&S requirements and each element of the job will be provided to you when you start.

Maintenance Operative: Essential Skills

• Experience welding or fabricating is essential for this role
• The ability to work well alone, and in a team
• Ideal candidate will have proven experience working within a maintenance environment
• Previous experience building pallets would be advantageous
• Keen eye for detail is essential
• Ability to work well under pressure, in a target driven environment
• Ability to use power tools
• Good level of numeracy and literacy skills

Maintenance Operative: Hours of Work & Pay

Monday to Friday – 6am to 2pm

Pay: £12.21 per hour (Monthly pay on the 28th of the month)

Temp to perm opportunity.
