What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out fault finding, problem solving and planned and preventative maintenance on plant equipment to maximise reliability and performance.
- Responding to internal customer needs to maximise production time according to given priorities.
- Complying with food safety standards and controls to ensure all work is carried out correctly and safely.
- Completing all necessary documentation, ensuring it is accurate and audit‑ready.
- Identifying and recommending opportunities for improvements to promote Health & Safety and operational efficiency.
- Maintaining a range of manufacturing, production and packaging machinery.
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off - rotating days and nights
What We’re Looking For
- Formal electrical engineering qualification (minimum Level 3 NVQ/C&G).
- Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing/FMCG environment.
- Knowledge of both mechanical and electrical maintenance.
- Proactive approach with willingness to learn and develop.
- Experience in electrical and mechanical fault finding.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Performing reliability improvement for the site’s equipment portfolio.
- Prioritising areas for improvement through criticality assessment.
- Providing data analysis for repetitive failures to inform corrective action.
- Facilitating reliability workshops and updating preventive maintenance plans.
- Analysing life‑cycle costs and developing maintenance strategies.
- Maintaining risk registers for key assets.
- Training staff on CMMS utilisation and predictive/condition‑based methods.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in full asset care strategies and processes (e.g., TPM, FMEA).
- Knowledge of reliability performance indicators (OEE, MTBF, MTTR).
- Familiarity with reliability metrics and manufacturing excellence.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Experience mentoring junior team members.
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Experience deploying CMMS across multiple sites.

Maintenance Support – Normanton Site
Providing maintenance cover during shift absence, focusing on facilities, building fabric and production equipment.
- Fixing problems related to facilities and equipment.
- Providing technical expertise in the technician’s area of ownership.
- Maintaining high operating efficiencies when shift technicians are absent.
- Reporting issues that cannot be immediately fixed.
- Repairing facilities, fabric and equipment safely and timely.
Person Profile
- Relevant mechanical qualifications.
- Experience working in a busy manufacturing environment.
- Good knowledge of Health & Safety.
- Self‑motivated, able to work independently or under instruction.
- Willingness to learn and drive continual improvement.
- Basic food hygiene training (desirable).
Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer – South Kirkby, Wakefield
Salary: £45,842.60 per annum. Overtime paid 1.5×, double time on Sundays. 4 on, 4 off, days and nights, 12 hr shifts.
Key responsibilities include maintaining documentation, diagnosing electrical control issues, reporting poor maintenance practices, using CMMS, and assisting in mechanical plant upgrades.
Essential Criteria
- Strong fault diagnosis on control systems (PLC, SCADA) and electrical circuits up to 415 V AC.
- Knowledge of electrical installations, testing, lighting maintenance, and service inspection.
- Experience with testing equipment and hand tools.
- Understanding of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Working knowledge of Electricity At Work Regulations (EaWR 1989) and PTW/LOTO systems.
Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – Leeds, West Yorkshire, UK
Required: EASA Part‑66 licence (Categories A, B1 or B2). Responsibilities include routine maintenance, inspections, repairs, and ensuring safety and airworthiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections on aircraft.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural defects.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Utilise specialised tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed.
- Collaborate with engineering and operational teams.
- Contribute to safety and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- EASA Part‑66 AML in Categories A, B1, or B2.
- Proven aircraft maintenance experience.
- In‑depth knowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance procedures.
- Proficiency with aviation maintenance software and diagnostic tools.
- Strong problem‑solving and diagnostic skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Teamwork and under‑pressure work ability.
- Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends.

Apprentice Maintenance Engineer – Leeds, West Yorkshire, UK
