An innovative brewery located in Scotland is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure the smooth operation of plant and equipment. The ideal candidate will perform maintenance, troubleshoot machinery, and comply with health and safety standards. This role requires experience in a similar manufacturing environment and knowledge of electrical systems. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the smooth operation of all plant and equipment within the facility. You will maintain, troubleshoot and repair machinery, systems and equipment to maintain safety functionality, maximise production efficiency, minimise downtime whilst following site HSEQ standards and guidelines.
Perform preventive and reactive maintenance troubleshooting as required to resolve automation, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues on site machinery and equipment as determined by the Maintenance Delivery Manager.
Ensure all work adheres to the sites HSEQ procedures, policies and standards.
Conduct task risk assessments and follow health, safety, and environmental policies.
Assist with the installation, commissioning, and modification of equipment.
Interpret technical drawings and documentation for troubleshooting and repairs.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and provide reports to the Maintenance Delivery Manager.
Attend safety, production and team meetings as required.
Work and communicate closely with other engineering teams and the production teams to ensure efficient operations.
Ensure detailed hand backs and handovers are completed for every task and end of shift.
Participate in training identified by the business to meet legislation, enhance skills and knowledge.
SVQ Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Fulfil Emergency Response role as per Emergency Response Procedure.
