Our Team
You will be supporting the Labour & Employment Practice Groupproviding secretarial and administration support. You'll be reportinginto the London office Secretarial Services Manager and will beworking alongside Partners and Associates and other Secretaries.Occasionally you may be expected to provide support to other teams asand when required.
In this dynamic and busy role, no two days will be the same. Thisrole would be ideal for someone who is an experienced JuniorSecretary, preferably in Labour & Employment, who has someexposure to supporting at Partner level and is ready to progress their career.
You'll be involved in heavy and complex billing tasks, to includefinalising and sending out bills, client and matter inceptions andunderstanding KYC requirements. Diary management and dealing withinternational travel form part of this role, along with assisting withextranet sites and updating BD and marketing data.
You must have a positive and professional approach at all times andwork efficiently in a very busy team.
Monday - Friday, 9.30am - 5.30pm
You
As this is a varied role, you'll need to be an organised, proactiveindividual who can easily prioritise and juggle workloads. You'll needto have the flexibility to assist other departments when required. Youshould also be able to use your initiative and spot where help isneeded with limited supervision.
You'll also have experience of complex billing, client inceptions andworking in a law firm, preferably with Labour & Employment experience.
As you will be dealing with clients of the firm, excellentcommunication skills are key for this role. Ideally you'll have goodknowledge of all Microsoft packages along with strong keyboard skills,and a good eye for detail is a must.
You will have a minimum of 5 years' experience of working in aprofessional service firm.
