Reporting to the Legal Counsel responsible for UK and Ireland, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • End-to-end responsibility for all legal matters for SoftwareONE subsidiaries in the UK (London) and Ireland, with support to the Group Legal function for subsidiaries outside these regions.
  • Provide legal support across a full range of matters, with a strong focus on software licensing, IT services, managed services, framework agreements, public sector contracts, and international supplier, partner, and customer agreements.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate complex commercial and licensing agreements, while managing day-to-day legal operations including documentation and contract management.
  • Act as the primary liaison with external lawyers and consultants, providing legal oversight for projects and business divisions in a global, cross-functional environment.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Finance, Procurement, and HR teams, and support data protection matters including DPAs in coordination with Group Data Protection and Compliance teams.
What we need to see from you

  • Fluent in English (additional languages are an advantage), with excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Structured, independent, and precise working style, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong commercial judgment and pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset, with awareness of UK and EU technology regulatory frameworks (e.g. DORA, public sector requirements).
