Reporting to: Associate Director, TTE
Salary: £29,565 - £43,562 per annum (subject to a progression criteria) *
Annual Leave: 45 days per annum plus bank holidays
Contractual hours: 37 hours per week,
Teaching hours: 864 hours per annum
Basis: Full time, Permanent
Pension: Teachers Pension Scheme
We are seeking a Lecturer in Electrical Maintenance Engineering to join our TTE Engineering team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality teaching and assessment across a range of qualifications, including Pearson Level 3 BTECs and City & Guilds T Levels. You’ll combine classroom and workshop-based learning to provide students with practical skills and theoretical knowledge essential for careers in electrical maintenance and engineering. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to curriculum development, support student progression, and maintain strong links with industry to ensure our training reflects current practices. A strong background in Electrical Maintenance Workshop and proven competence in Test and Inspection is essential for this role.

The Lecturer Salary Scale is from Pt 5 – Pt 16. The salary progression criteria beyond point 11 of the Lecturer scale will be based on you achieving and maintaining, on an annual basis, the Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) & QTS. To progress beyond point 14 of the Lecturer salary scale, you will be expected to achieve and maintain the Advanced Teacher Status (ATS).
