The Governors are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant (SEND) to join our strong and successful team.
We are inviting applications for an experienced, dedicated and caring Learning Support Assistant to work with children supported through an EHCP within our primary school. The successful candidate will assist in supporting adapted and differentiated teaching and learning as well as implementing Individual Provision Plans. Experience of supporting children with general learning difficulties, language skills and ADHD/ASD would be beneficial but not essential. Applicants should specify their experience and suitability for this post.
The main duties include working under the direction and in partnership with the SENCo and class teacher to support learning in line with the National Curriculum, Person Centred Plans and Consistent Management Plans; joining a team of dedicated LSA's, supporting codes of practice, school policies and procedures.
Suitable applicants will need to demonstrate patience, flexibility and a commitment to supporting learners in their academic, social, emotional wellbeing and personal development.
The successful applicants will need to support the Christian ethos of the school.
Minimum qualification of GCSE Mathematics and English grade C would be preferable or equivalent qualification.
