An inclusive youth sports organization in Scotland seeks a Lead Sessional Coach. The role involves delivering tailored football coaching sessions for young people with Autism and other neurodiverse conditions. Candidates should have a relevant coaching qualification, experience with children in sport, and strong communication skills. Team United uses the power of football to break down social barriers and provide a platform for neurodiverse young people to flourish. Working with children and young people aged 10-16 (and a 16-24 programme), Team United delivers weekly football sessions, social participation activities, and competitive opportunities such as the Autism League and Autism Scottish Cup.
To deliver high-quality football coaching sessions that are inclusive, supportive, and tailored to the needs of young people with Autism and other neurodiverse conditions. Sessional coaches will provide a safe, enjoyable, and developmental environment that encourages participation, social connection, and personal growth through football.
Locations: We are currently prioritising coaches who can support our Johnstone, Bellshill, and Bishopbriggs sessions, with opportunities across other community club venues in partnership with Team United.
Reports to: Regional Coordinator
Rate of Pay: Competitive sessional rate, dependent on experience and qualifications.
